Empowered WOMEN, Empowering WOMEN
I recently orchestrated an event with my close friends where they came over & spent some real quality time with me. My quote for this night was “Empowered Women, Empowering Women”. We started off with 10 questions of self reflection and openly discussed our answers. After we spent a good amount of time listening to music and creating our life boards, we finished up giving a quick synopsis. After we concluded with that exercise, I presented a jar full of questions that we passed around the room to draw from & also answer.
These ladies came with an open mindset and tried to be as transparent as i believed they could be. I wanted everyone to take something from it & I feel like it probably did more for me than it did for them. Who am I to ask these ladies to open up to me & be transparent with other women that they barely knew?
But Who I am not to do it?
It was intimate, it was mind-blowing, it was what we all needed. Here is a snippet from some of the intimate discussion.
Don’t isolate yourself & think you’re alone. That’s not GOD, that’s the devil making you feel that way. We were never meant to be alone. People want to be there to support you, love you & let you know they got you. It’s up to you to let them in.
Im not perfect by FAR, but I am Brittany. I’ve never tried to be anything less or anything more! Im getting prepared for the next season in my life & I am excited, I can’t wait to see what it has in store for me.
My ultimate goal is to be a vessel, to let GOD use me for whatever is needed! I want visible results, i want people to see GOD in me! Endless possibilities, one day at a time! 💫💫

If you're interested in setting up your own intimate night with your close friends.. Heres a point by point of what I did here below:
All of my friends were not friends with each other, but I knew they would mesh, support and be very open to it.
-I required each participant to bring two bottles of wine, that way we would have plenty! One of my friends made a punch bowl of Sangria which was amazing.
-I also had them bring their poster board, old magazines, and any arts & crafts they had. ( Scissors, tape, glue, glitter, markers, ribbon, crayons, & etc)
-I gifted everyone with a wine glass with their initials on them *they ended up being super cute*
-At their arrival I had them take a shot of Vodka with lime, just to loosen them up a bit! ;)
-As they entered I collected all the items they brought, and handed them 2 sheets of paper. One was titled "10 questions, to help you live in your purpose right where you are" the other was a simple powerful photo.
-One of my friends helped me prepare dinner for everyone, which consisted of homemade chicken alfredo, tossed salad, corn on the cob & garlic bread.
-As I was preparing dinner and waiting on more ladies to arrive, the ladies started their discussion about the questions and their answers.
-Soon after we ate, we put all the magazines and crafts in the middle of the floor and start actively enjoying conversation, music, and finding things to put on our life board.
-Once we finished with the life boards, we all gave a synopsis on what our life board was about.
-After we finished, a jar of questions was passed around the room to openly discuss.
This part was very intimate and mind blowing.
The next morning we attended brunch and had a reflection of the night before.
I also gave the ladies journals to start daily journaling.
It wasn't much but it was everything!
Here below I have posted all the tools that I used at my life boarding event!
Please feel free to use whatever you like!
Leave a comment if you need any help with anything!
Have fun life boarding!!
